Robinsons Logistix and Industrials, Inc. (RLX), Robinsons Land’s logistics and industrial arm, has unveiled its latest project at Sierra Valley Destination Estate in Cainta, Rizal: a “big box” facility for Shopwise, Robinsons Retail’s value-driven supermarket brand.
Spanning a total land area of 7,785 square meters with a gross leasable area of 5,825 square meters, the development is set for completion by the second quarter of 2027, with store opening targeted in the third quarter of the same year. Designed to serve both the growing local community and visitors to the estate on Ortigas Avenue Extension, the project reinforces RLX’s role as a builder of scalable, high-impact retail infrastructure. The development also reflects Robinsons Land’s push into new standalone formats that complement its established portfolio and broaden recurring income streams.
Sierra Valley brings the “big box” concept to life through the lens of Shopwise, not just in scale but in experience. Designed as an international, one-stop grocery destination without the need for membership, the store combines bulk-value shopping with a curated mix of global finds and everyday essentials. While globally associated with warehouse-style retailers such as Walmart, Costco, Carrefour, and Aldi, the format is reimagined for Filipino shoppers, bringing together convenience, wider product choice, and a more seamless shopping journey in one accessible location.
Larger than a typical supermarket, the store supports both efficient stock-up trips and discovery-led browsing, making everyday grocery shopping easier and more enjoyable for families and small business owners. Developed by RLX, the project strengthens Robinsons Land Corporation’s presence in Rizal’s fast rising corridor. The store is designed to drive steady daily traffic and serve as a key anchor within the estate’s retail ecosystem and “live-work-play-inspire” philosophy.
Sierra Valley is an integrated destination estate where retail, residences, workspace, and logistics converge, anchored by Robinsons Sierra Valley Mall and The Shops at Sierra Valley, and complemented by Sierra Valley Gardens—a master-planned residential enclave—and RLX’s Grade A logistics facilities along Ortigas Extension.
“We take pride in delivering a facility that reflects Filipino excellence, from engineering and build quality to thoughtful, efficient interiors,” said Cora Ang Ley, Senior Vice-President and Business Unit General Manager. “It’s the kind of work we want associated with the Robinsons name: purposeful, reliable, and built to serve communities for the long term.”
The project supports Robinsons Land’s Vision 5-25-50 roadmap by scaling repeatable platforms in key growth corridors. Anchored on five growth levers, the strategy targets PHP25 billion net income by 2030, the company’s 50th anniversary.
With Shopwise Sierra Valley, RLX and Robinsons Land continue to show how Filipino-built brands can help shape modern retail landscapes—serving communities while driving sustainable growth.
